Quality Hotel Nova Domus

We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel! Not sure why people rate the place with such a low mark, we think price corresponds the quality! Accommodation in Rome is expensive overall, so book your stay in advance and be sure - it will be a good stay, in a clean room, with nice people and good service. First of all - location! just 10 mins walk from Vatican, metro station and bus stop. Also, a lot of different cafes and shops near by, quite backyard. The room was cleaned on a daily basis, bedlinen was perfectly clean. There were some issues in the bathroom but we always had hot/cold water which is the most important. We had a hairdryer, little fridge, a small balcony, conditioner in the room to manage temperature. Also, we got a breakfast on an open-air terrace. It always included good coffee, eggs, some fruits and pastry, cheese and ham and yogurts. Would be good to include some veggies, too :) We were offered a free taxi from the airport which was nice, and we booked an extra one when leaving - the car was comfortable and the driver was polite. There was no kettle to boil some water for tea unfortunately...but you can drink tap water and a receptionist helped us microwave some water when needed.

The hotel is located just a km walk from vatican city. The clean up the hotel and change the linens and towels averyday. The breakfast was amazing. Our room is big with two separate bedrooms which is useful when I need to have an online meeting while kids are sleeping.

It has an American quality (it is part of the Choice hotels), even when you can tell the hotel had had better days. It is located in a quiet area, you can access by metro, we didn't mind that at all. The location was actually great to go to the Vatican on Sunday, we were even able to see the Pope. Breakfast has a lot of options, and I love that the play a radio with only Italian music, finally!

The hotel is big and clean. The maids cleaned our room everyday. The breakfast was the same everyday, there were various options but the only thing i didn’t like is that there were vegetables only one of the days. The location is close to the Vatican.
